A Healthy Quiche Recipe

If you are looking for a healthy recipe that is big on taste and your family will love, try this easy to fix recipe for Ham and Broccoli Quiche:


1 9” prepared pie crust, 1 ¼ c. shredded cheese (low-fat, Colby, Monterey Jack), 2 big broccoli florets (cut-up small), 6 eggs (4 whole eggs + 2 egg whites), 1/3c. low-fat milk, 3 slices deli ham (fresh, sliced thin, cut small pieces), salt & pepper to taste.


Spread part of the cheese on the bottom of the pie crust.  Next, spray a skillet with cooking spray and heat to medium.  Add the broccoli and cook till tender. Season with salt & pepper then set aside.  Whisk eggs and milk in large bowl add pepper, rest of cheese, broccoli, & ham.  Pour the mixture into the pie crust and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.  Cool for 10 minutes on rack, slice and serve.
